Terms of Service
1. What T1Q is
T1Q connects to the diabetes devices and services you already use, pulls your data into an account that belongs to you, and shows it back to you: your glucose, your insulin, your meals, your training, and patterns across all of it. There is also a coach you can ask questions, which answers using your own history.
That is the whole product. It reads and analyses data you already own.
2. What T1Q is not
T1Q is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice. It is not cleared, approved, or registered by the FDA or any other regulator. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent anything.
Do not use T1Q to make treatment decisions on its own. Insulin dosing, and every other clinical decision, stays between you and your care team. If a number in T1Q disagrees with your meter, your pump, or how you feel, trust the meter, the pump, and how you feel.
T1Q is not an emergency service and does not watch over you. Its alarms are optional threshold notifications — a push when your glucose is already below or above a line you set, or when no reading has arrived — delivered only when the app has data. They never predict. They are not a substitute for your CGM's own alarms: T1Q can be offline, out of date, or wrong, and you will not always know when it is. Keep using your CGM's own alarms and whatever else keeps you safe.
3. The coach, and why it can be wrong
The coach is built on a large language model. It is good at spotting patterns in your history and explaining them in plain language. It is also capable of being confidently, fluently wrong. Treat what it says the way you would treat a well-read friend who has seen your data: worth hearing, not worth obeying.
To answer you, your question and the slices of your own data needed to answer it are sent to Anthropic's API. If you use meal photos, the photo goes there too. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what that means.
4. The coach does not answer dosing questions
By default — and on every beta account today — the coach will not tell you how much insulin to take. Ask it a dosing question and it will talk you through what your numbers are doing and point you back to your own pump, meter, and care team. Dose arithmetic exists in T1Q only as a feature that must be explicitly enabled on an individual account; it is not available to enable from inside the app.
On an account where it has been explicitly enabled, the coach still does not guess: it runs the same arithmetic you would do yourself, using the insulin-to-carb ratio, correction factor and target you entered, subtracting the insulin already on board, and it shows you the formula it used. Even then, that is not a prescription and it is not a recommendation. It does not know that you are ill, or about to exercise, or that your site failed, or that your ratios have drifted. The number is yours to accept, change, or ignore, and the decision — every time — is yours and your care team's.
5. Connecting your devices
To pull your data, T1Q needs access to the accounts that hold it. For some services that means giving us the username and password you use with that vendor. We encrypt those credentials and use them for exactly one thing: fetching your own data. See the Privacy Policy for the mechanics.
Two honest warnings. First, some vendors do not offer a proper API for individuals, and using your login to fetch your own data may breach their terms of service — that risk is yours to weigh, and you can disconnect at any time. Second, if a vendor changes something, your data simply stops arriving; we will show the connection as broken, but we cannot promise a fix or a timeline.
You may only connect accounts and upload data that are yours.
6. Your account
One account, one person. Keep your password to yourself; anyone who has it has your health data. Tell us if you think someone else is in your account. You need to be 18 or older to have one.
7. Your data belongs to you
You can download everything we hold for you as a zip file, at any time, from Settings → Your data. You can delete your account from the same place; deletion is scheduled seven days out so you can undo it, and after that it is permanent.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not train models on it for anyone else's benefit. The Privacy Policy is the full account of what happens to it.
8. What we ask of you
- Do not use T1Q to make decisions you would not make for yourself.
- Do not upload another person's health data, or connect an account that is not yours.
- Do not attack, scrape, overload, or try to reach another user's data. Per-account isolation is something we take seriously and probing it is not research, it is intrusion.
- Do not resell T1Q or run it as a service for other people.
- If you find a security problem, tell us before you tell anyone else. We will thank you.
9. This is a beta, and we mean it
T1Q is early software run by a very small operation. It can go down, lose a sync, show a stale number, or — despite nightly backups — lose data. Do not let T1Q become the only place your diabetes history exists. Export it now and then, and keep your vendor accounts.
We may change, break, or remove features, and we may stop offering T1Q altogether. If we shut it down we will give you as much notice as we reasonably can and a way to export your data first.
10. No warranty
T1Q is provided as it is, with no promise that it will be accurate, available, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. We do our best; we cannot guarantee outcomes.
11. Limits on what we owe you
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of T1Q, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

12. Ending it
You can leave whenever you want — delete your account in Settings and everything goes. We can close an account that is being used to attack the service, to harm someone, or in breach of these terms; where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export.
13. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that actually matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect, and you can export and leave if you disagree.
